SHADOWLANDS

Picture
Shadowlands is Allister's first studio album. It was recorded in the winter of 2008/09 at Studio W19 in Toronto and coproduced by Michael Dilauro. The album is a stew of different kinds of songs, from pastoral folk to progressive rock to Krautrock-influenced experimentalism. Having the run of the studio allowed Allister to use the classic sounds of the 70s like organ and mellotron while retaining the solid base of acoustic guitar that he has brought from his experience as a folk singer-songwriter.
